Origins

Nello Casadio was born on January 1, 1907, in Casalfiumanese, in the province of Imola. Following a terrible storm, which causes structural damage to the family home, he and his parents decide to move to Bologna. It was here that Nello undertook his first mechanical work, working alongside his studies at the Salesian Institute. Later, turnery would become the specialization that would yield the first results in the production of small kitchen equipment, such as the pasta press.
